It is addressed to businesses, universities and research institutes, trainers, training and consulting companies operating in Italy. Was established, in the spring of 2008, with the objective of providing information on initiatives, courses, news, location, vendors, best practices related to the experiential learning in organizations. Our web portal aims to highlight the Italian training market is experiencing deep confusion between training, incentive, teambuilding, entertainment.

There are boys and girls who use all resources and opportunities available to them, to create their own, unique life story. They have no trouble dealing with the complicated web of challenges and expectations.

But there are lots of youngsters who are unable to cope with that responsibility. Ado-lescents who miss their connection to the ever-whirling world, and are threatened with alienation. Things go wrong at home, school doesn’t provide an answer to crucial ques-tions, to findand keep a job seems to be a mission impossible, and society… society just heads on in full force. The gap widens every day. These socially vulnerable boys and girls often face an endless series of conflictswith parents, school, law, employers and their direct environment.

That’s why Arktos exists: a partner for youth projects. Partner of governments and or-ganisations, but most importantly: partner of youngsters between 12 and 25 years old, that are looking for answers on specificproblems with different aspects of life (work, wellbeing, education, leisure or home environment). We are offering instruction for young people and their supporters, and guidance to everyone who works with young-sters. Moreover, we are transmitting a positive signal to society. Arktos believes in the qualities of every boy or girl, but also in a society that alienates alienation.

Arktos has locations close to every youngster, with fiveguidance centres throughout Flanders that put theory into daily practice, with the support of a coordination centre in Louvain. And as from now, you can also consult us on the Internet!
